9/10 since it doesnt have cool art like part 1!

After watching this second part, not only am I wanting to see the finished product but now I want to know what happens in episode 2.

The homo sapiens put the environment and time into perspective, which made your story seem a lot more interesting to me. I now understand why the main character looks fat and primitive, which contrasts well with the homo sapiens.

godyousuck raises a pretty good point about the fight scene, however I feel the characters strength is fine taking into consideration an adrenaline rush. The homo sapien who tries to hit her with the spear was a good way of stating the very sudden outburst. I agree with godyousuck's suggestion of having the group subdue her but that was because I found the really long pole thing a bit odd. Even though she was distracted, it felt unusual that she'd ignore the people behind her and keep her back directly facing them, especially for a long enough time for them to do the pole knocking out thing.

larkinheather responds:

hey again! Yah, the end scene needs work. Thanks for telling me.

Also, I wanted to make the two species different, but not too different. That was tricky. So one is stocky and small (and very strong), and humans are taller, skinnier.

Can't wait to see this when its done

This has amazing art and some very skillful and time consuming animation - far beyond what I'd expect to see going through the portal. I was wondering what the catch was - turns out its just a work in progress.

Even in the animatic stage this looks awesome - your story is really well thought out, and there are plenty of scenes I really want to see completed. One part that stood out was how your character leaps for the pearl, then does this happy spin.

You've got some really interesting sequences. I love how the tree falls down (and your camera angles), but its the stick afterward that makes the character turn around.

I'll be waiting patiently to see the finished result, this looks like its going to be amazing.

larkinheather responds:

Thanks a lot zeedox! I really appreciate the specific comments. :) I'm glad you liked it. I'm still throwing around what my next steps will be ... (I've written a bit about it here: http://larkinheather.newgrounds.com/n ews/post/481563) ... but hopefully I'll have more to show you soon!

This was fantastic! The animation was smooth, the graphics were crisp and its a Farmers Union Iced Coffee or its nothing! Great to see another animator from Adelaide.

Alienslushie responds:

The Farmer's Union baught my soul.

Simple and fun to watch

This is a good example of something that is effective because of its simplicity. It was fun to watch and try and anticipate to the beat of what the circle was going to do next and the choice of music fitted so well. I only disliked how it ended so suddenly, I thought it needed a more creative way of finishing. Good work, looks like something that would have been fun to make!

farfenwaffle responds:

Thank you! if you like simple stuff check out my other cartoons, "stuff" and "squares" They are just as musical and simple :)
I kinda wished the music didint end so suddenly either. What I should have done would be to start a new song after the other ended. I think the credit music kinda helped continue it.

Clever and Unique

Well done, you told a joke on such a serious subject in a way that was a complete surprise but also managed to not seem too offensive while doing so. For that I am impressed.

BillyNapalm responds:

I am impressed that you are impressed. Good job!

Amazing

This is a memorable, top quality documentary with eye catching visuals. The information presented was interesting and important and I enjoyed watching the whole thing. This is a submission on NewGrounds that I wont forget about anytime soon.

Cavebird responds:

Thank you, zeedox!
So glad you enjoyed it!

Great Work

I liked the humour, it wasn't hilariously funny, but it was light and cheerful. Its simplicity suited this. Your frame by frame work was awesome to watch. If I were to suggest an improvement, perhaps add another part to the knife, gun, rocket launcher sequence and speed up some parts as it felt a little slow in some scenes. That didn't stop me enjoying it though! Did you do well in your school assessment?

Olimar011 responds:

Thanx, I haven't gotten my mark back yet but I hope it'll be good.

This made me laugh out loud.

awwww..... that poor snail! I give this a vote of 5 for the fact that I actually burst out laughing while watching it. A snail with long eyelashes that nobody likes, not even his mother was just so funny and random. Can we expect more Victor the Snail episodes or was this a single tale?

zelle responds:

Why, thank you. There will be a prequel. However, since I won't have a deadline this time, the graphics will be different and essentially less crappy.

That was a very entertaining flash, with good visuals that suited the theme. The ending was totally unexpected. I even watched this a second time!

ConAir responds:

Hopefully you picked up on some things you missed the first time, thanks for watching it again!

Brilliant

I really enjoyed this flash. I cant wait if any more episodes are being made. The characters and the story left me laughing, and even once the flash was over and the credits started itwas still pretty funny. That was some awesome credits.

Did you really ride 80 roller coasters?

ReporterClock responds:

heheh, thank you very much! ^_^ and yes, I really did.
